how I shoot a wedding

90% of the day I am just documenting your day as it unfolds. This style of shooting suits couples who are camera shy. My goal is to blend in with your guests.
When I am outside I often shoot on a zoom lens, so I am not as close as you may think.
no interrupting
the special moments
I don't interrupt real moments to move you to better light or ask you to "hug again" for the camera. I will just position myself around you to capture whatever is going on.
gentle guidance

During couples portraits, I give guidance & prompts to create movement. No stiff posing or specific hand placement. This keeps your portraits natural, fun, full of genuine smiles & laughter.
These portraits take just 15 minutes.
group shots
can be fun
As well as formal and sensible family group shots [if you are having them] you are allowed to be fun and silly on your wedding day. Just let me know and I'll provide the prompts to make people laugh naturally.
